Sarah Bond (Chief Financial Officer)

Sarah Bond has a banking background and has worked full-time in the business for the past 20 years.

Following the election of Arch Financial Planning Limited to the Nucleus Advisory Board, Sarah has attended the Advisory Board meetings. Sarah also regularly attends the quarterly Nucleus user sessions and has been used as a presenter to groups of new users of the system.

Sarah is a collector of pigs (not the live variety) and enjoys family life with her husband Steve and son Stuart.

Qualifications: Financial Planning Certificate, Certificate in Financial Planning – Life Office Administration (FA1), Certificate in Financial Planning – Pensions Administration (FA2).

Rick Callaghan (Chartered Financial Planner)

Rick is a  Chartered Financial Planner with advanced qualifications in pensions, trusts and investment planning.  He has always worked in finance since his “teens” and he has been providing trusted financial advice to his clients now for over 20 years.  After a long career managing and advising within the Zurich/Openwork Group Rick chose to join Arch Financial Planning in February 2015 where he has quickly settled in as part of the adviser team.

Rick enjoys helping people and values all the relationships he is able to build in life, this is no exception when dealing with his clients, both old and new.

Rick is married, lives in Berkshire, has two sons and enjoys watching most sports and playing golf, when he can find the time.

Arthur Childs (Director, Chartered Financial Planner)

Arthur Childs is a Certified Financial Planner and a Chartered Financial Planner and holds fellowships of the Chartered Insurance Institute and the Personal Finance Society.  He was also until recently a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute.

Arthur was the founder in 1989 of what is now Arch Financial Planning Limited.  He remains on the board but his main responsibilities now are in looking after his clients.

A member of Millmead Baptist Church, a very large Christian community based in Guildford, Arthur was for 14 years the leader of the NewFocus group which particularly seeks to meet the needs of retired and semi-retired people.

Niki Covington (Paraplanner)

Niki Covington joined the Support Team at Arch Financial Planning Limited in January 2010. Niki has worked in the Financial Services for over 20 years initially at Cornhill Insurance in Guildford where she undertook customer service based roles including managing administration teams. Niki then joined Legal and General Assurance in November 2000 as a Compliance Auditor for 8 years before moving into a Compliance Policy Manager role, still within Legal & General, in 2008. Niki took 18 months out of work to spend time with her first daughter before joining Arch.

Niki spends most of her time with her two young daughters Emmy and Isla, together with her husband. They enjoy sunny holidays, outdoor activities and eating out. Niki has two pet dwarf rabbits named Sully and Mike - Monsters Inc. fans!

Katy Dickson (Support Team Supervisor)

Joanne Enticknap (Support Team)

Joanne Enticknap has been in financial services for 20 years, starting at Legal & General looking after the Company Pension Scheme. After 12 years, Joanne moved into mortgage administration with an independent mortgage adviser in Guildford. She briefly moved out of financial services and worked for a management consultant before joining the Support Team at Arch Financial Planning Limited in 2007.

Joanne lives with her daughter and husband. They have an entertaining pet dog named Barry and two cats named Sydney and Denzil. The men in Joanne's family have a passion for competing in motorcycle trails and have become District Champions in their class, which the whole family enjoys supporting and spectating. Joanne and her family also arrange fund raising events to raise money for the Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance. Joanne very much enjoys socialising at the local pub in Dunsfold with her friends and family.

David Lemar (Independent Financial Adviser)

Mark Taylor (Independent Financial Adviser)

Mark has 25 years' experience in retail financial services and is a Member by Diploma of the Personal Finance Society. Having spent 4 years with a large insurance company in a business management role, he decided to become an Independent Financial Adviser in 1991. Mark joined the team at Arch Financial Planning Limited in 2010.

Mark is qualified to advise on all aspects of personal financial planning, from savings and investments to pensions, life assurance and estate planning. He specialises in Pension Planning for both individuals and corporate bodies. He is also able to advise on all aspects of pension transfers.

Mark is a graduate of the University of Life. He lives in Cranleigh with his wife Ann and has three adult children. He is involved with the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and Explorer Scouts.


Joe Triccas (Independent Financial Adviser)

Joe Triccas has been in financial services for the whole of his working life although his original intention was to be a journalist. He worked at Royal Insurance and General Accident before joining a general insurance brokerage. His longest time with a company was the 16 years that he worked at Lloyds Bank plc. Prior to joining Arch Financial Planning Limited in 2004 he was a successful independent financial adviser at two IFA firms owned by accountancy practices. Joe specialises in pension planning, both for individuals and SMEs.

Joe is married with three children and in any spare time he helps run a youth football team and also does voluntary work as a public footpath inspector.

Qualifications: Chartered Insurance Practitioner, Dip PFS

Greg Tichbon (Independent Financial Adviser)

Greg has been in financial services all his working life, and as a Financial Planner he enjoys building excellent relationships with his clients to help them achieve their goals and ambitions. He is a member of the Personal Finance Society and holds a number of advanced qualifications regarding investments and pensions. He is continually working on further professional development to better serve his clients, while helping them understand and take charge of their own financial future.

Having previously worked for a large, national advice firm Greg joined Arch Financial Planning in 2018, as he believes that a true independent firm can offer the best outcomes to clients.

Greg is a keen sportsman, with tennis and football being his main passions. He has completed and organised many charitable events including bike rides and a sky dive, while also enjoying spending his free time with family and friends.

Jess Best (Support Team)

Jess joined the financial planning industry as her first full time work after university and volunteering in Latin America. Joining Arch in August 2018, she was previously working for a large, national financial planning firm but wanted to work in a smaller one that encouraged more personal relationships with clients. Working in the support team, Jess does not yet have any financial qualifications but is looking forward to starting her training through Arch.

Finishing university, Jess graduated with a bachelors in human geography and a masters in social science research, where she spent six months researching housing in Cochabamba Bolivia. Outside of work Jess enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching her sisterís dance competitions and baking her latest creations. Her passions include volunteering amongst the international development sector, helping others whenever possible, at home and abroad, and taking regular classes in ballet and pilates.

Ed Stenning (Paraplanner)

Ed joined Arch Financial Planning Limited in June 2018, having worked within the Financial Services industry for the past 17 years. His first role was in private banking for Brown Shipley Limited and before joining Arch Financial Planning Limited he held the position of Paraplanner in an IFA firm within the Intrinsic network. Ed enjoys all aspects of Financial Planning, particularly where he can add value to a particular client proposition.

Ed currently holds the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Certificate in Financial Services and is working towards the CII Certificate in Financial Planning.

Outside of work Ed furthers his passion for all things Environmental through his directorship in a limited company that innovates Eco solutions, one of which has been championed by Dame Judi Dench.

Emma Calvert (Paraplanner)

Emma joined Arch Financial Planning Limited in January 2018. She has worked in the Financial Services for 15 years, her first role being with Royal London Asset Management and has had various administrative roles over the years. She decided to progress into Paraplanning in 2015 and thoroughly enjoys this aspect of Financial Planning as it provides a valuable service to clients as well as supporting the advisers.

She enjoys spending time with her family, mainly on dog walks in the countryside.

Marilyn Selzer (Support Team)

Marilyn has been working in the Financial Services Industry for 4 years and joined Arch in 2018. Her experience has been gained through working not only for a small independent company but also for one of the top award-winning financial planning and investment companies. Prior to being in the Financial Services industry she has worked in a variety of industries both nationally and internationally.

Marilyn has two adult daughters, 2 cats (Matata and Kiara) and a Rottweiler (Prince). Along with having a love of animals she also has a passion for skiing and travelling both in the UK and abroad, with some trips being done on her motorbike. In her spare time, she is a volunteer for Surrey Age Concern and The Cinnamon Trust, a charity which helps the elderly and terminally ill who need assistance with their pets, such as walking their dogs on a weekly basis.
